| 2004 Kickoff: Meet some of our
County's Givers |

In The Giver, 12-year-old Jonas becomes the new
Receiver of Memory, learning the importance of preserving community
memory from the elder Giver. At our kickoff event, some of the county's
own Givers told young receivers how life has changed in central PA
over the decades. Read more about it and

We also drew the winners of the Discussion Group hospitality
prizes—eight groups received refreshments for their next meeting from
area businesses. |
