Let’s Ride the Bus!

The Kickoff was held Saturday, September 24 in downtown State College. The displays were set up on Allen street, in front of the new, about-to-be-opened Schlow Community Library. Setting Up

Jackie Sheader Jackie Sheader of CATA spoke, and also explained how to read a bus schedule.

Many local agencies set up displays about their services for persons with disabilities and their families.

And there was more! Centre County thespians performed dramatic readings from Riding the Bus with My Sister while riding the downtown Loop, presented books to local service agencies, and even served refreshments.
