Kick-Off

Let’s Take a Walk!

Over 80 people joined us for the kickoff to learn about the book and the Appalachian Trail, hear music, and more:

The Tolins Bluegrass Review kept us dancing and clapping.
Sam Horton and his sons demonstrated the sport of Geocaching, and many people, especially kids, tried it out at the marsh.
Two hikers of the Appalachian Trail, Matt McKinney (at right, holding photo album) and Lisa McGlaughlin (below right, in green shirt),discussed their journey and shared beautiful pictures

Also, crucial hiking supplies (granola and Ramen noodles) were handed out to the first 50 people, and many entered our drawing to win prizes.
